DIY Awesome Beach Dress

Summer is pretty close, so it is a good idea to start preparing your summer wardrobe. Here, we have an idea. This adorable DIY dress will easily turn into your favourite – just get a super large, nice-colored t-shirt and you are ready to start.

Remodel an over-sized t-shirt and get a cute summer dress with just a little bit of cutting and sewing.

You need to actually measure where your shoulders start, in order to be able to cut and sew the sleeves properly. After you cut off the sleeves, there would be some excess fabric – cut it off, too, so that the t-shirt fits you well. When you sew the sleeves and the sides of the t-shirt, you are almost done.

To make the sleeves cute, you will need to sew a thin elastic band inside.

For the waist, it is best to wrap an elastic band around your waist and measure the necessary length. Use chalk to mark where the elastic should be placed on both sides and sew.

This is it – the t-shirt is now a cute and comfy dress, ideal for the hot summer days!
